They join the [[Special:MyLanguage/Saiyan Soldier|Saiyan Soldiers]] from the third wave on, and in the last wave they throw a fake moon and transform into giant '''Saiyan Oozarus'''.

== Appearance ==

Like the soldiers, every Saiyan Elite gets its own look when it spawns: a skin tone, black hair in a random style, one of four sets of Saiyan armor (Vegeta's, Raditz's, Turles's or Bardock's) and a green, red, blue or purple [[Special:MyLanguage/Scouters|scouter]].

== In raids ==

In waves 3 and 4 the Elites fight alongside the soldiers, glow purple like them and can't transform. In wave 5 they are the raid's bosses: they glow red and stay dormant until the six soldiers of the wave are dead, but attacking one wakes it up early. All of them fight on the [[Special:MyLanguage/Sagas#Enemy AI tiers|Smart]] AI tier and attack only the raid's participants.

Stats are the defaults, before the story difficulty multiplier of the player who started the raid (see [[Special:MyLanguage/Raids#Difficulty|Raids]]); the number of participants doesn't change them.

== The fake moon ==

In the last wave, once an Elite has been fighting for 3 seconds, it stops, looks up and spends 1.5 seconds winding up a '''fake moon''', which it throws into the sky. Players within 96 blocks see ''"Look up at the moon... and witness the true power of a Saiyan!"''. Only one Elite throws a moon at a time, and stunning it during the windup cancels the throw.

The moon climbs about 30 blocks and glows there for 20 seconds. Every Elite that is fighting within 96 blocks of it transforms as soon as the moon stops rising: it powers up for 4 seconds, can't be hurt meanwhile, and becomes a '''Saiyan Oozaru''' with full health. If the moon fades before an Elite has seen it, the Elites throw another one.

The moon works like the [[Special:MyLanguage/Fake Moon|Fake Moon]] technique for everyone: a player with a tail who looks at it can transform into an Oozaru too.
