Yakon is the second of Babidi's guards in the Buu Saga, fought at Babidi's Spaceship, and a possible contender in the Otherworld Tournament. He is a big, pure melee fighter, and every punch he lands drains your ki and knocks you out of your transformation.

Yakon is one of the Buu Saga fighters that can be drawn as a contender in the Otherworld Tournament. Like every contender, he is drawn at random and revealed once everybody accepts the rules.

<!--T:8-->
His stats come from the contender entry that drew him: by default between 238,000 and 612,500 health, 9,900 to 25,800 melee damage and 8,840 to 23,460 ki damage, on the Smart AI tier for the four weakest entries and Elite for the other five. He gets 8% stronger for every round already played.

<!--T:9-->
Hover him on the tournament screen to see his stats.

<!--T:11-->
Yakon is half again as big as a normal fighter. He flies, but he has no ki attacks, no combos, no Zanzoken and no teleport: everything he does is melee.

<!--T:12-->
* Each melee hit he lands on you drains 3% of your maximum ki.
* If you are transformed when he hits you, you drop out of your form and out of any stack form such as Kaioken, and Yakon takes a small amount of damage himself.

* Buu Saga quest 12, Babidi's Guard: Yakon: defeat him at Babidi's Spaceship.
* GT Saga quest 25, Hell's Escapees: he is one of the five villains you defeat in the Otherworld, together with Pui Pui.
