DragonMineZ adds a set of chat commands for checking and editing characters, running parties and quests, managing raids, world bosses, tournaments and Dragon Balls, and administering the server. Most of them are meant for operators; this page lists every command, its syntax and an example.

Reading the syntax In the examples, @s is yourself and @p the nearest player; you can also use a player's name or any selector. Unless noted, [targets] is optional, defaults to yourself and always comes last. Values in angle brackets are required, values in square brackets are optional, and a vertical bar separates alternatives. Type any command with no arguments in-game to see its full argument list and subcommands.

Who can use them

Most commands need operator rights (OP level 2), the dragonminez:admin permission or the matching permission node. A few parts are open to every player by default:

  • listing your own quest progress, viewing quest information and tracking your own quest (/dmzquest list, info and track);
  • party commands (/dmzparty);
  • growing or cutting your own tail (/dmztail) and resyncing or resetting your own hair (/dmzhair);
  • answering a Namekian assimilation request (/dmzracial reply, which needs no permission at all);
  • reopening the summary of your last world boss fight (/dmzworldboss results);
  • saving a debug file of your own character (/dmzdebug, once every 5 seconds);
  • viewing your own stats, points, skills, techniques, forms and effects.

Server owners running a permissions mod can grant the rest one node at a time: see Permissions.

Character and progression

Command Syntax What it does Example
/dmzstats set|add|remove <STR|SKP|RES|VIT|PWR|ENE|ALL> <amount|min|max> [targets]
relocate [targets]
reset [targets] [keepPercentage] [keepSkills]
Sets, adds or removes stat points; min is 0 and max is the server's stat cap. relocate is a stat respec and reset a progress reset: see below. /dmzstats set STR max @s
/dmzpoints set|add|remove <amount> [targets] Edits Training Points only. Attribute Points come from Attributes rewards and /dmzstats relocate. /dmzpoints add 10000 @s
/dmzbonus add <STR|SKP|DEF|STM|VIT|PWR|ENE|ALL> <+|-|*> <value> <bonusName> [applyMultipliers] [targets]
remove <stat> <bonusName> [targets]
clear <stat|ALL> [targets]
Adds, removes or clears named bonus stats. The bonus stat keys are DEF and STM, not RES, so they don't exactly match the keys of /dmzstats. /dmzbonus add STR + 500 eventbuff true @s
/dmzform set <form> <level> [targets]
set all <level> [targets]
add <form> [targets]
remove <form> [targets]
Sets, grants (at level 1) or removes a form. set all sets every form and stack-form skill to that level. See Transformations. /dmzform set all 5 @s
/dmzclass <class> [targets] Sets a player's class (fully positional, with no set word). The class must be one your race offers (it tab-completes to the classes of all loaded races); stat multipliers are re-applied on change. /dmzclass tank @s
/dmzmastery set|add <group> <form> <value> [targets]
set|add current form|stack <value> [targets]
set|add ALL form|stack|all <value> [targets]
Sets or adds form mastery. Like most commands, the targets are optional, default to yourself and come last. The group tab-completes your race's form groups (every loaded race's groups when run from the console) plus every stack-form group. current uses each target's active form or stack form and skips, with a message, anyone who isn't transformed. ALL covers every form of the target's race, every stack form, or both. See Mastery. /dmzmastery set current form 100 Steve
/dmzskill set <skill|all> <level> [targets]
add <skill|all> [targets]
remove <skill|all> [targets]
Edits "plain" skills only (not ki, strike or evasion techniques, forms or stack forms). add sets level 1; all applies to every plain skill at once. /dmzskill add ki_control @s
/dmztech add|remove <technique|all> [targets]
experience add|set|remove <technique> <amount> [targets]
Grants or removes ki, strike and evasion techniques, or edits their experience. all adds or removes every predefined technique; techniques you already own are left untouched by add all. /dmztech add kamehameha @s
/dmzcooldowns <slot 1-8> <cooldown> [targets] Sets the remaining cooldown of the ki or strike technique equipped in that technique slot, in ticks (20 ticks = 1 second); 0 clears it so the technique can fire immediately. Fails if the slot is empty. /dmzcooldowns 1 0 @s
/dmzracial reset [targets]
reply accept|reject
reset wipes a player's racial-skill progress: racial stat bonuses, Namekian assimilations, Majin absorptions, Cell Jr. (despawned), Zenkai uses and racial cooldowns. reply answers a pending Namekian Assimilation request sent to you (anyone can use it). See Racial Skills. /dmzracial reset @s
/dmzalignment set <0-100> [targets]
add <amount> [targets]
remove <amount> [targets]
Sets, raises or lowers a player's alignment. /dmzalignment set 100 @s
/dmztail grow [targets]
cut [targets]
Grows or cuts a Saiyan tail. /dmztail grow @s
/dmzhair resync [targets]
reset [targets]
resync re-sends a player's appearance to nearby players (it fixes desynced or invisible hair). reset restores the race's default hair type and color and clears every custom hair style. See Character Customization. /dmzhair reset @s
/dmzweight <turtle_shell|workout_weights|piccolo_cape> <weight>
<weight>
Gives you a weight item of that weight (yourself only, no targets). A bare weight gives Workout Weights. /dmzweight turtle_shell 500

Resetting a character without losing stats

/dmzstats has two different reset tools; pick the right one depending on what you want to keep:

  • /dmzstats relocate [targets] is a pure stat respec. It sets STR, SKP, RES, VIT, PWR and ENE back down to the race's base starting values and refunds every point invested above that as pending Attribute Points, so you lose nothing: you just redistribute them from scratch. Nothing else (forms, skills, quests, techniques, master relationships) is touched.
  • /dmzstats reset [targets] [keepPercentage] [keepSkills] is a progress reset. With no keepPercentage it wipes stats, Training Points, forms, skills, quests, techniques, cooldowns, bonus stats, master interactions and dynamic growth back to zero. To reset progress without losing your stats, pass keepPercentage 100 (it keeps 100% of your current STR, SKP, RES, VIT, PWR, ENE and Training Points) and keepSkills true (it also keeps your learned skills, techniques and effects); everything else (forms, quests, cooldowns, bonus stats, master interactions, dynamic growth) is still cleared.
/dmzstats relocate @s
/dmzstats reset @s 100 true

Effects, halo and revive

Command Syntax What it does Example
/dmzeffect give <effect> <durationSeconds|-1> [targets]
remove <effect> [targets]
clear [targets]
Handles DragonMineZ's long-term character effects: mightfruit, majin and mutant. A duration of -1 is permanent. remove knockout gets a knocked-down player up (the K.O. effect). Other effects use vanilla /effect. clear also ends a knockdown and a fusion and clears the fusion cooldown, the Super Saiyan God Ritual cooldown (God Ritual CD) and the Ki Transfer effects (Shared Ki and Ki Exhaustion). /dmzeffect give mightfruit 600 @s
/dmzhalo on [targets]
off [targets]
Turns a player's halo on or off. /dmzhalo on @s
/dmzrevive [targets] Fully revives a dead player (with no arguments, yourself). See Otherworld. /dmzrevive @p

Parties, quests and raids

Command Syntax What it does Example
/dmzparty invite <player>
accept [confirm] [party]
reject [party]
leave
list
kick <player>
disband
pvp
Manages your party, like the Party tab of the Character Menu. With no arguments it lists your party: ⭐ marks the leader and ☆ the player who created it, when someone else is leading. invite also works on a player who is already in another party (accepting moves them to yours); if the invitation can't be sent, it tells you why: the level gap is too large, your party is full, the player is already in your party or plays on a higher story difficulty than your party. A member who isn't the leader sends the leader a suggestion instead. accept and reject answer your latest invitation, or the party whose ID you give (the clickable chat buttons fill it in); confirm accepts an invitation from a party on a higher difficulty, which permanently raises yours. kick (leader only) also works on offline members, but never on the player who created the party. disband is only for the creator; when the creator uses leave, the party is disbanded too. Nobody can join, be invited to or be kicked from a party while its tournament is underway. /dmzparty invite Steve
/dmzquest list [player]
info <quest>
start|finish|fail|reset <quest|all> [player]
track <quest|none> [player]
startsaga|finishsaga|resetsaga <saga|all> [player]
difficulty [easy|normal|hard] [targets]
questnpc spawn <npcId> [model] [texture]
questnpc list
questnpc remove
Lists, inspects, tracks and force-starts, finishes, fails or resets quests and whole sagas, and spawns quest NPCs (questnpc needs OP level 2). Quest and saga IDs use . where the quest files use : (for example saiyan_saga.1). start, finish, fail, reset, track and the saga subcommands only change the player you name (or you), never the rest of their party. difficulty with no value shows your story difficulty; with a value it sets it, and players get a chat notice. For a player in a party it changes the party leader's difficulty, so the whole party switches. /dmzquest start saiyan_saga.1 @s
/dmzquest difficulty hard Steve
/dmzraid start [type]
stop
info
start begins a raid at your position: red_ribbon_assault, saiyan_assault (the default), frieza_invasion, gomah_assault or an extra raid; stop cancels the nearest raid within 128 blocks; info shows the state of the nearest raid. Needs OP level 2. See Raids. /dmzraid start saiyan_assault

World bosses, tournaments, Dragon Balls and minigames

Command Syntax What it does Example
/dmzworldboss results
locate [boss]
tp [boss]
reset [boss]
ready [boss]
results (anyone) reopens the summary of your most recent world boss fight. locate finds a lair (no boss means every lair), tp teleports you there, reset despawns the boss and forgets its lair so a new one is chosen and built (it also restores the Tree of Might, the Big Gete Star or Gomah's Horn Cradle in the loaded chunks), and ready clears the respawn cooldown. Bosses: janemba, turles, metal_cooler_core, tamagami_1, tamagami_2, tamagami_3, gomah; without one, tp, reset and ready use the nearest lair in your current dimension (janemba if there is none). Everything except results needs OP level 2. See World Bosses. /dmzworldboss locate turles
/dmztournament ring <tournament>
cooldown clear <players> [tournament]
ring, run while standing inside a tournament arena structure, saves your spot as that tournament's ring point. cooldown clear clears tournament cooldowns (of every tournament if none is given). Tournaments: baba, cell, otherworld and budokai (the World Martial Arts Tournament). Needs OP level 2. See Tournaments. /dmztournament cooldown clear @a
/dmzdragonballs status [set]
regenerate <set>
status shows, per set, the balls placed, the balls pending (generated once their chunk loads) and the dragons waiting for a wish; with a set, it lists every ball's coordinates (click to teleport). regenerate tops a set back up to its configured number of copies (balls held by players aren't counted). Sets: earth, namek and any add-on set. See Dragons and Wishes. /dmzdragonballs status earth
/dmzminigame play <minigame> [targets] [masterBonus]
learn <minigame|all> [targets]
play opens a training minigame for the players (they need a created character; masterBonus true applies the master's mentor bonus). learn marks the minigames as learned. Minigames: rhythm, control, memory, precision, gravity. See Training Minigames. /dmzminigame learn all @s

Server and admin utility

Command Syntax What it does Example
/dmzlocate <structureId> Finds the nearest DragonMineZ structure with that id in your dimension (a bare id or namespace:path). It also accepts otherworld_tournament, the Otherworld Tournament ring, which only works while you are in the Otherworld. Among the ids are budokai_tenkaichi (the World Martial Arts Tournament island) and red_ribbon_base (the bases of the Red Ribbon Army Assault). See Structures. /dmzlocate goku_house
/dmzstructure here
npcs
here prints the structure you are standing in, its template and your position and facing relative to it, with a Copy NPC JSON button. npcs lists that structure's NPCs, where they are (click for a teleport command) and whether they have spawned yet. Needs dragonminez.dmzstructure or OP level 2. See NPC Placement and Alignment. /dmzstructure here
/dmzconfig <configFile> <keyOrSubtype> <rest> Changes a config value in game. It is fully positional; the last argument takes the rest of the line, so nested keys and values are typed as they are. Needs dragonminez:admin or OP level 2. See Configuration. /dmzconfig general-server gameplay.tpPerHit 5
/dmzreload [all|config|story|wishes] Reloads DragonMineZ's config, story or wish files (no argument means all). story also reloads NPC dialogue. See Reloading and Updating Changes. /dmzreload config
/dmzrestoreupdate [confirm] Deletes the world's wishes, sagas and quests folders and regenerates them from the defaults. With no argument it prints a warning with a clickable confirm button that expires after 15 seconds. Needs dragonminez:admin or OP level 2. See FAQ. /dmzrestoreupdate confirm
/dmzdebug [scope]
<player> [scope]
Saves a debug file with a character's DragonMineZ data. Every player can run it on their own character, once every 5 seconds: the file is saved on your own computer as dmzdebug/<PlayerName>.json in your game folder, and the chat message has a link that opens the folder. Admins (OP level 2 or dragonminez.admin) can also name another player, before the scope, and have no cooldown; run from the server console, the file is saved in the server's folder. Scopes: ALL (the default), STATS, CHARACTER, TECHNIQUES, QUESTS. /dmzdebug STATS

<player> cooldowns
<player> rage <0-100>
<player> knockout [seconds]
<player> release <value>
A testing tool: unlike most commands, the player is required and comes first. form puts the player into any form of their race (base reverts), stackform applies a stack form (clear removes it) and clear removes both; forms triggered this way cost nothing, give no mastery and skip unlock requirements. racialskill fires a racial skill: a Saiyan Zenkai at a potency (temp only applies the temporary boost, real triggers a full Zenkai), a Majin absorption of the mob you name, a Namekian assimilation, Human Adrenaline, a Frost Demon energy reserve at that percentage, or a Bio-Android self-destruct or Cell Jr. cooldowns clears the racial cooldowns, rage sets the Rage meter (Mutants and False Super Saiyan), knockout knocks the player out (by default for the server's knockdown time) and release sets Power Release. Needs OP level 2, dragonminez.admin, dragonminez.dmztrigger.self (yourself only) or dragonminez.dmztrigger.others; both nodes are off by default. /dmztrigger @s knockout 10

DragonMineZ also adds game rules for ki griefing and arena building: see Gamerules.
