The Giant Turtle is a harmless beach dweller of Earth. It never attacks, and it is the main source of Turtle Scales.
Spawning
Giant Turtles spawn on beaches, on sand no higher than 4 blocks above sea level (spawn weight 8, groups of 1–2). They come in three shell variants.
Behavior
The Giant Turtle is passive: it wanders and swims, and panics when hurt.
Drops
- 1 Raw Giant Turtle (cooks if on fire, +0–1 Looting)
- 1–2 Turtle Scale (+0–1 Looting)
Turtle Scales can also be crafted from a vanilla Scute. They are used for the Katchin Sprout and the yellow capsule (see Items).
