cellThe Cell Games is a four-star bracket tournament hosted by Cell at the Cell Arena on Earth. You fight through a bracket of Z Fighters from the Cell Saga, then Teen Gohan in the semi-final and Super Perfect Cell in the final. It is the only lethal tournament: a lost bout is a real death.
Getting there
The Cell Arena generates in the plains of the Overworld. A Capsule Corp Assistant of tier 3 sells a map to it for 1 Tier-1 Radar Chip. See Structures.
Cell talks to every player: his Evil alignment requirement (40 or less) only locks his Skills and Train as a master, not the tournament (see Alignment). Talk to him, press Tournament and then Enter while you are within 12 blocks of him. The arena can't be built in or broken by survival players (see arena protection).
Format
This tournament is a bracket of 8 seats filled with random contenders. Winners climb the ladder, and fights between two NPCs are decided automatically. After the qualifier rounds, the survivor faces the semi-finalist, then the champion. Only those two are known before you enter; the rest of the draw is revealed once everybody accepts the rules.
With a party, each member has their own seat; if the draw puts two members against each other, they fight a PvP bout. Each bout lasts up to 7 minutes; a bout that runs out of time is void and fought again. The general rules for entering and bouts are on Tournaments.
Fighters
The contenders are drawn from the Z Fighters of the Cell Saga and Mr. Satan: Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks (in their base and Super Saiyan forms), Piccolo, Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Android 16 and Mr. Satan. By default they have between 66,500 and 210,000 health, 2,700 to 8,700 melee damage and 2,420 to 7,820 ki damage, fight on the Novice to Elite AI tiers, and get 8% stronger for every round already played.
Each contender seat draws a character who isn't in the tournament yet, and the semi-finalist and the champion are drawn first. The forms of a character count as one, so a bracket never has two Gokus, two Vegetas or two Future Trunks. Teen Gohan is in the same pool, but the semi-finalist (Teen Gohan as a Super Saiyan) takes his place first, so he is never drawn as a contender.
| Stage | Fighter | Health / melee / ki | AI tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Semi-finalist | Gohan (teen, Super Saiyan) | 245,000 / 10,200 / 9,180 | Elite |
| Champion | Cell (Super Perfect) | 287,000 / 11,700 / 10,540 | Elite |
Rewards
Beating Super Perfect Cell wins 1,000,000 TP and +10 alignment, with fireworks and the victory music. Losing a bout, withdrawing or being disqualified puts you on a 60-minute cooldown before you can enter again; winning starts the same cooldown.
