Vegeta is a master who waits at Vegeta's Saiyan Pod in the rocky lands of Earth. He teaches his signature ki attacks, the Fake Moon and three strikes, and runs the Gravity training minigame. He trains anyone, whatever their alignment.

Location

Vegeta waits at Vegeta's Saiyan Pod, which generates once per world in rocky biomes. Bulma is there too. Capsule Corp Assistants sell a map to it at trade tier 5 (see Vegeta's Saiyan Pod).

  • Skills: Ki Control, Defense Penetration, Potential Unlock
  • Ki attacks: Galick Gun, Big Bang Attack, Final Flash, Final Explosion, Fake Moon
  • Strike attacks: Deadly Dance (Vegetto), Spirit Breaker (17,000 TP), Spirit Breaking Cannon

Everything is paid for with Training Points, and your race has to allow each skill.

Training

Vegeta's Train option offers a Shadow Clone to spar with and the Gravity minigame: pilot a Saiyan pod through a canyon of rock pillars. Play it from Vegeta 3 times reaching level 5 to learn it; after that you can replay it from the Minigames tab of your menu, and starting it from Vegeta pays a +25% mentor bonus.

As a tournament fighter

Vegeta also fights in three tournaments, as NPC fighters separate from the master:

  • Vegeta (Mid) and Vegeta (Mid, Super Saiyan) can be drawn as contenders in the Cell Games. A bracket has at most one of them.
  • Vegeta (End), in his base, Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2 form, can be drawn as a contender in the Otherworld Tournament, at most one per bracket. Majin Vegeta counts as a different character, so he can be drawn in the same bracket.
  • His fusions with Goku fight in the Otherworld Tournament too: Gogeta (by the Fusion Dance) is its champion, and Vegetto (by the Potara Earrings) can be drawn as a contender.
  • In the World Martial Arts Tournament, Majin Vegeta is the finalist, and Vegeta (End) can still be drawn as a contender.
