The wild Giran spawns in the same biomes as the dinosaurs: badlands, mountains, hills, the DMZ Rocky biome and biomes with savanna villages (spawn weight 6, always alone). It is a wild enemy: it spawns on the surface under open sky, day or night, away from torches and other light, and never in Peaceful (see how wild enemies spawn). It is rare: only 20% of its natural spawn attempts succeed, and it never spawns within 64 blocks of another Giran. In Creative, the Giran Spawn Egg spawns a wild Giran.
