Mouth Blast
Mouth Blast is the energy wave a Great Ape fires from its mouth. It is one of the three techniques you get while you are in the Oozaru or Golden Oozaru form, and unlike other beams you can steer it while it fires by turning.
Getting it
No master teaches Mouth Blast by default. While you are in the Oozaru or Golden Oozaru form, your first three technique slots are replaced with Mouth Blast, Oozaru Slam and Rage Scream. They are added temporarily if you don't own them, and your normal slots come back when you leave the form.
Its TP cost is 4,500, which applies if a server owner adds it to a master's list. Admins can also grant it with /dmztech add.
How it works
Mouth Blast is a Wave ki attack: hold the slot key to charge it (2.5 seconds to reach 100%), keep holding to overcharge, and release to fire. Its damage is your Ki Damage × 1.75 × the charge.
While it fires you can steer the beam by turning. The turn is smoothed and limited to 60° per second, so you can sweep it across a group of enemies but not snap it around.
As a Wave attack, it can clash with other beams.
Upgrades
Like every Wave attack, Mouth Blast gains experience when it hits and can upgrade its damage, speed, armor penetration and cooldown. See Techniques.
