DragonMineZ adds five dimensions on top of the vanilla Overworld, which the mod treats as Earth. Each world has its own purpose: mining and Namekian villages on Namek, extreme-gravity training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, death and revival in the Otherworld, and the stacked worlds of Dragon Ball Daima in the Demon Realm. Most of them are reached with the Space Pod.

The worlds

Dimension Id Gravity What it's for How to get there
Earth minecraft:overworld ×1.0 Your starting world: most masters, landmark structures, the Earth Dragon Balls, Turles, the Saiyan Assault and Red Ribbon Army Assault raids and the World Martial Arts Tournament. You start here; Space Pod (always available).
Namek dragonminez:namek ×1.0 Namekian home world: mining, the Namek Dragon Balls, the Frieza's Invasion raid and the Big Gete Star. Space Pod (always available).
Sacred Kai Planet dragonminez:sacredkaiplanet ×1.0 Home of the Kais and Old Kai. Space Pod, after Buu Saga quest 23.
Hyperbolic Time Chamber dragonminez:time_chamber ×10 Extreme-gravity training void. Portal at Kami's Lookout, or Space Pod after Bulma's Temporal Comm-Link sidequest.
Otherworld dragonminez:otherworld ×1.0 The afterlife: death and revival, King Kai, Hell and the Otherworld Tournament. Dying (when the Otherworld is enabled), or Space Pod after Bulma's Otherworld Drive sidequest.
Demon Realm dragonminez:demon_realm ×1.0 Dragon Ball Daima: three stacked Demon Worlds, demon villages, Gomah's army, the Tamagamis and Gomah himself. Space Pod, after Daima Saga quest 3 (To the Demon Realm).

Travelling between worlds

The Space Pod is the main way to travel between worlds. Its menu lists every destination; each one has its own unlock rule (a story quest, a sidequest or a server setting). Locked destinations stay in the list, greyed out, so you can see what is still ahead.

Destination Unlocks when Where you land
Earth Always Same X, Y and Z as you
Namek Always Same X, Y and Z as you
Otherworld The Otherworld is enabled on the server and you completed Bulma's Otherworld Drive sidequest 54, 210, 1082
Sacred Kai Planet You completed Buu Saga quest 23, Gotenks at Full Power Same X, Y and Z as you
Time Chamber You completed Bulma's Temporal Comm-Link sidequest 0.5, 130, 0.5
Demon Realm You completed Daima Saga quest 3, To the Demon Realm 160.5, 745, 0.5

The menu shows up to seven destinations at once. Two more entries, Cereal Planet and Beerus Planet, appear greyed out but never unlock in DragonMineZ on its own: they are reserved for add-on dimensions. Server owners and add-ons can add their own destinations with a datapack (see Space Pod Destinations).

Other ways to move around:

  • Death: when the Otherworld is enabled, dying sends your spirit to the Otherworld instead of respawning you.
  • Portals: the Time Chamber portal at Kami's Lookout takes you into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and back.
  • Finding structures: /dmzlocate <structure> finds DragonMineZ structures in the dimension you are in (see Structures).

Gravity

Configured in: Gravity ConfiggravityPerWorld

Every world has a base gravity. By default all DragonMineZ worlds use normal gravity (×1.0) except the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, which uses ×10. The Sacred Kai Planet and the Demon Realm aren't listed in the per-world gravity setting, so they use the fallback value, also ×1.0. Server owners can change all of these.
