Android
Androids are a sub-race of the Human race. A Human becomes one by accepting Dr. Gero's android conversion in his laboratory. The upgrade is permanent: the Human Super and Legendary forms are gone for good, replaced by the three Android forms, and the racial skill swaps Blood-Fueled Ki for Android Core and the Absorption Barrier.
Becoming an Android
Find Dr. Gero in Gero's Lab (see Structures), talk to him and accept his offer. He asks you to confirm, because the process can't be undone.
- By default only Humans can be converted. Gero turns away other races.
- You can't take the upgrade while you are fused (see Fusions).
- By default Dr. Gero only talks to players with an alignment of 60 or lower.
- The conversion puts you straight into Android Base and gives you the first level of the Android Forms skill.
What changes
- It is permanent. Once you are an Android you can't revert to a normal Human.
- Different transformations. You lose access to the Human Super forms and Legendary forms and gain the Android forms line instead. A normal Human has the opposite: Super and Legendary forms, but no Android forms.
- Different racial skill. Blood-Fueled Ki is replaced by Android Core and Absorption Barrier; Fast Learner and Adrenaline are kept.
- Fusions. Androids can't use the Fusion Dance, but they can fuse with Potara Earrings and Medi-Bug Beetles. Android forms are never shared with a fusion partner.
Racial skill

If the absorbed Ki overflows your max Ki by 50%, you enter a Ki Surge; past 75% the barrier shatters and the excess backfires on you as damage. | Adrenaline | Dropping to 25% health or below fills you with adrenaline for 15 seconds: you take 30% less damage and gain +25% attack speed and +25% movement speed. It can trigger again after 180 seconds, once your health has risen back above that threshold. |

Transformations
Level is the level of the Android Forms skill that unlocks the form. The default Android Forms price list is 42,000 · 104,000 TP, but Dr. Gero's upgrade already gives you level 1, so only level 2 (Fused Android) is bought. Each form after Android Base also needs 25% mastery on the previous one. Multipliers are the defaults at 0% mastery and grow up to 1.5 times at 100% mastery. The Android forms have no Ki upkeep.

Dr. Gero's conversion puts you straight into this form. You keep your Human look.
Super Android
A bulkier body with spiky hair. The upgrade already includes its skill level, so it costs no TP.
Fused Android
The strongest Android form: a huge body with blue skin, wild orange-red hair, white eyes and red lightning. Each attack costs 2.5 times as much stamina.
Configuration
The Absorption Barrier (androidBarrier… keys, including its size) and the Android Core Ki regeneration multiplier (androidKiRegenMultiplier) are in the human section of racialSkills in general-server.json. Dr. Gero offers the upgrade to any race whose character.json has at least one Android Forms price, so server owners and add-ons can open it to other races.
