Some techniques belong to certain races. A master lists every technique they teach, and its details show a Race line, in red when your race can't use it. You can still learn such a technique, but you can only equip it in a slot or upgrade it if your race is allowed: in the Skills menu it shows Not usable by your race and has no Bind to Slot button. By default these are restricted:
- Gum Punch, the Mystic Ball Attack, Sleep Recovery, the Candy Beam and Gum Bind: taught by Majin Buu, only for Majins.
- The Darkness Eye Beam: taught by Piccolo, only for Namekians.
- The Android Combo: taught by Cell, only for Androids (any character with the android upgrade).
- Perfect Rush: taught by Cell, only for Bio-Androids.
