Demon Village
Demon villages are the settlements of the Third Demon World in the Demon Realm: a plaza surrounded by 3–5 adobe houses, 1–2 farms, adobe-brick paths and lantern posts. Their villagers sell Medi-Bugs, a Time Patroller sells maps to the Demon Realm's world bosses, and Gomah's soldiers keep raiding them.
Who lives here
Demon Realm Villagers
Each house holds 1–2 Demon Realm Villagers. 40% of them are bug traders who sell 2–3 of these offers:
| Offer | Price | Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Medi-Bug (Ant) | 8 Emeralds | 6 |
| Pair of Medi-Bugs (Beetle) | 16 Emeralds | 2 |
| Medi-Bug (Rhino) | 6 Emeralds | 6 |
| Medi-Bug (Worm) | 6 Emeralds | 6 |
See Medi-Bugs for what each one does. The other villagers don't trade.
Time Patroller
One Time Patroller stands on the plaza of every village. He sells maps to the world boss lairs:
| Map | Leads to | Price | Uses |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tamagami Number Three Map | Tamagami Number 3 | 12 Emeralds | 4 |
| Tamagami Number Two Map | Tamagami Number 2 | 16 Emeralds | 4 |
| Tamagami Number One Map | Tamagami Number 1 | 20 Emeralds | 4 |
| Gomah's Horn Cradle Map | Gomah's Horn Cradle | 24 Emeralds | 4 |
A map stays out of stock until that boss's lair has been found; the lairs are searched for while players are in the Demon Realm.
Every resident restocks once per in-game day when you trade with them. Killing a Demon Realm Villager or the Time Patroller lowers your alignment.
Gomah's patrols
While players are within 6 chunks of a demon village, Gomah Soldiers show up on its outskirts in waves of 1–3 (a 30% chance every 20 seconds, up to 4 soldiers per village). Some are bigger or smaller than usual, with stats scaled to match. They attack players, not the villagers.
Finding one
Demon villages only generate on the Third Demon World, the top floor where the Space Pod drops you. Players with the locate permission can use /dmzlocate demon_village in the Demon Realm.
