• A player wrapped in gum breaks free by mashing the Sneak key (Shift): every press takes 0.25 seconds off the bind.
• The bind also ends if the victim is knocked down or gets more than 24 blocks away from you.
• Against other enemies, a stronger target is bound for 10 seconds × your Battle Power ÷ its Battle Power, but always at least 2 seconds.
• World bosses and giant multi-part bosses can't be bound.
• Majin Buu also uses Gum Bind against you in the story, and the Majin Candy attack of the bosses that use it has the same effect as the Candy Beam.
