A lethal hit while temporarily revived knocks you out instead of killing you, but it eats part of your remaining time and fails your active fight quest, just like a death would. Server owners can switch Baba back to a permanent revive. The revive wishes of Shenron and Porunga bring dead players back to life for good. The full rules are on the Otherworld page.
