Masters teach skills. Talk to a master and choose Skills in the dialogue to open their skill shop; each master only teaches a specific set (see the tables below and each master's page). Purchases are checked by the server: you must be within 10 blocks of a master who offers the skill, your race must be allowed to learn it, and a master who refuses you because of your alignment won't teach you. Techniques are the exception to the race rule: any race can learn them, but a race-locked technique can only be equipped by its races (see Techniques).
