saiyan_assaultThe Saiyan Assault is one of the two raids of Earth, next to the Red Ribbon Army Assault. A Saiyan pod crashes, its scout calls for backup with his last breath, and five waves of Saiyan Soldiers and Saiyan Elites land around you. In the last wave the Elites throw a fake moon and transform into Oozarus. It is the second easiest of the four raids, after the Red Ribbon Army Assault.
Finding a Saiyan Crater
Saiyan Craters generate anywhere on land in the Overworld, spread out and kept away from villages. They only appear in newly generated chunks. Each crater holds a crashed Saiyan pod and one Saiyan scout with a supervillain aura. When you come within 80 blocks, your scouter warns you: "Your scouter picks up a Saiyan pod that just crashed nearby...". See Structures.
Starting the raid
The scout has 500 health, 12 melee damage and 10 ki damage, and fights on the Novice AI tier. When it dies ("With his last breath the Saiyan called for backup... brace yourself!"), the killer receives the Hunted effect for 60 seconds. When it runs out, the raid starts where you stand. Drinking milk to remove the effect calls the raid off. The full flow is explained on Raids.
Waves
Stats are the defaults, before the story difficulty multiplier of the player who started the raid. In waves 3 and 4 the Elites can't transform; in wave 5 they stay dormant until the soldiers fall, then call the moon ("Look up at the moon... and witness the true power of a Saiyan!") and become Oozarus.
| Wave | Enemies | Health / melee / ki | AI tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 4 Saiyan Soldiers | 500 / 12 / 10 | Novice |
| 2 | 6 Saiyan Soldiers | 550 / 14 / 11 | Novice |
| 3 | 6 Saiyan Soldiers | 600 / 15 / 12 | Novice |
| 2 Saiyan Elites | 700 / 17 / 14 | Smart | |
| 4 | 6 Saiyan Soldiers | 650 / 16 / 13 | Novice |
| 4 Saiyan Elites | 750 / 18 / 15 | Smart | |
| 5 | 6 Saiyan Soldiers | 700 / 17 / 14 | Novice |
| 3 Saiyan Elites (bosses), becoming Oozarus | 800 / 20 / 16; as Oozaru 1,500 / 55 / 45 | Smart |
Rewards
Every participant still fighting when the last wave is cleared gets:
- 10,000 TP
- Hero of the Village and Hero of the World for 10 minutes (see Effects)
- 8 Golden Carrots, 2 Senzu Beans and 1 Green Scouter (see Scouters)
Defeat
If every participant falls or leaves, the raid is lost: the remaining Saiyans vanish, everyone sees "You couldn't defend Earth from the Saiyans..." and loses 10 alignment (see Alignment).
