The Flying Nimbus is a fast rideable cloud. Only the pure of heart can ride it: if your alignment isn't good enough, it won't carry you. Its darker counterpart, the Black Nimbus, only carries riders with an evil heart.

Getting a cloud

Ask Korin at Kami's Lookout for his Flying Nimbus service:

if your alignment is above 50, he gives you a Flying Nimbus;
otherwise, he gives you a Black Nimbus.

He only gives you a cloud if you don't already carry one, and once he has given you a cloud the service stays locked.

Riding

Right-click a block with the cloud to place it, then right-click the cloud to get on.
The Flying Nimbus only lets you ride with an alignment of 67 or more; otherwise the cloud rejects you. The Black Nimbus rejects riders with an alignment of 67 or more.
Steer with the mouse and the movement keys. Hold Space to rise and the Second Function key (Left Alt by default) to descend. Both clouds fly at 24 blocks per second and rise or descend at 8.
Press the Dash key (R by default) for a short burst of speed.
The Flying Nimbus carries up to 2 riders: the one in front steers, and riders switch seats with the Technique Slot 1 and 2 keys (Alt + 1 / 2 by default). The Black Nimbus carries one. Neither takes fall damage.
You can't fire techniques while riding a cloud, and Fly switches off when you get on.
The cloud leaves a trail behind it as it flies.
Hit the cloud to pick it back up as an item. Any player can pick up any cloud.
The clouds share their controls and rules with every other vehicle.
