A Mutant is one of the server's rare chosen fighters. The Mutant effect speeds up your Training Point and form mastery gain and gives you a rage meter that lets you tap into your race's Legendary transformation line, even forms you haven't unlocked yet. Mutants are picked at random by a server lottery.

Benefits

With the default settings, a Mutant gets:

+25% Training Point gain (×1.25);
+50% form mastery gain (×1.5);
a rage meter (see below).

The rage meter

The meter fills while you fight worthy opponents: dealing or taking significant hits. Mixing melee, strike and ki attacks fills it faster.
It drains when you stay out of combat. Death resets it.
With a full meter, you can transform into Legendary forms you don't own yet. A borrowed form is worth your best unlocked non-legendary form, with its mastery, +0.5 to each stat bonus, but never more than the Legendary form itself at full mastery.
A full meter inside a Legendary form turns into active rage for 10 seconds. While it lasts, the Legendary forms you do own get 33% more bonus power.
When the rage ends, borrowed forms revert down to your highest owned form, or to base.

The Mutant lottery

By default the server runs a lottery every 30 minutes. Each roll picks an online player with a 20% chance, with up to 1 Mutant on the server at a time. Becoming a Mutant is a rare, random event.
The Mutant status is lost on death by default. Dying frees the slot, so the lottery can pick a new holder.

Commands

Admins can grant or revoke it directly with /dmzeffect give mutant -1 <player> and /dmzeffect remove mutant <player> (see Effects and Commands).
