Dinosaurs
Dinosaurs are the big predators of Earth. Two walking dinosaurs, a flying one and a baby share the same spawn table, and all of them attack players, villagers and other animals on sight. They are also one of the main sources of meat in the early game.

Spawning
Dinosaurs live in badlands, mountains, hills, the DMZ Rocky biome and biomes with savanna villages. They spawn like monsters: not in Peaceful, only in dim spots (block light 7 or less), and only about a third of spawn attempts succeed.
Behavior
All four species are predators: they attack players, villagers and other animals on sight, and flee when badly hurt.
Drops
Dinosaur, Large Dinosaur and Flying Dinosaur:
- 0–1 Raw Dino Tail (cooks if on fire, +0–1 Looting)
- 1–2 Raw Dino Meat (cooks if on fire, +0–1 Looting)
Baby Dinosaur:
- 1–2 Raw Baby Dino Meat (cooks if on fire, +0–1 Looting)
Uses and story
Dino meat is a regular food: like other foods, eating it also restores a share of your health, ki and stamina. Raw Dino Meat is an ingredient of the Oozaru Root and of the red capsule, and the Capsule Corp Assistant takes 10 Cooked Dino Meat for the map to Goku's House.
In the Saiyan Saga, the quest Wilderness Training asks you to defeat a Dinosaur (it rewards 8 Cooked Dino Meat), and Provisions for the Lookout asks you to bring 6 Cooked Dino Meat to Mr. Popo.
