Masked Warrior
The Masked Warrior is Fortuneteller Baba's final champion, a fighter who hides his face behind a mask: he is Grandpa Gohan, Goku's grandfather. He is the semi-finalist of Fortuneteller Baba's Tournament at Baba's Palace on Earth, and the last of Baba's own fighters in the Classic Saga.
In the tournament
The Masked Warrior is the semi-finalist of Fortuneteller Baba's Tournament: you face him after the four contenders (Fangs the Vampire, the Invisible Man, Akkuman and the Mummy) and before the champion, Kid Goku. Unlike the contenders, he doesn't get stronger from round to round. His default stats are:
| Stage | Health / melee / ki | AI tier |
|---|---|---|
| Semi-finalist | 280 / 26 / 20 | Smart |
Bouts end at knockout, so nobody dies. See Tournaments for how bouts work.
Behavior and abilities
Rapid Kicks: every so often the Masked Warrior teleports in front of you and lands a flurry of up to 9 quick kicks in about a second.
He doesn't fly and has no ki attacks, so his ki damage goes unused. In the tournament he fights on the Smart AI tier (see enemy AI tiers).
In the story
The Classic Saga quest Baba's Fighters: The Masked Warrior (quest 28) has you defeat him at Fortuneteller Baba's Palace.
