The Dragon Radar locates the scattered Dragon Balls so you can gather all seven and summon a dragon (see Dragons and Wishes). Each world has its own radar: the Earth radar finds the Earth Dragon Balls for Shenron, the Namek radar finds the Namek Dragon Balls for Porunga, and the Bi-Dimensional Radar works in both worlds.
Radars
| Radar | Works in | Finds | How to get it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dragon Radar (Earth) | Earth | Earth Dragon Balls | Crafted from Radar's Chips (Earth) and a Radar's CPU (Earth). Also the reward of Bulma's Radar Upgrade sidequest and of the GT Saga quest Parts for Bulma. |
| Dragon Radar (Namek) | Namek | Namek Dragon Balls | Crafted from Radar's Chips (Namek) and a Radar's CPU (Namek). Also the reward of Bulma's Namekian Research sidequest. |
| Bi-Dimensional Radar | Earth and Namek | Both sets | Not craftable. Bulma's Bi-Dimensional Radar sidequest fuses an Earth radar and a Namek radar into one. |
Using the radar
- Hold the radar in your main hand or off hand to see the radar display on screen.
- Right-click to switch its range. The Earth and Namek radars switch between 150 and 300 blocks; the Bi-Dimensional Radar also has a 600-block range. After switching, the radar needs 16 seconds before you can switch again.
- Bulma's Signal Amplifier sidequest adds the 600-block range to your radars.
- Bulma's Tracker Display sidequest adds a readout of the distance to the closest Dragon Ball.
Radar parts
The radars are built from four components. They are also used in many other DMZ recipes.
