Vegetto
Vegetto is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta by the Potara Earrings. He is one of the Buu Saga fighters of the Otherworld Tournament, in his base form or as a Super Saiyan, and a sparring partner in the Buu Saga.
In the tournament
Vegetto can be drawn as a contender in the Otherworld Tournament. Each contender seat draws a random fighter from the Buu Saga cast, and a tournament never has two forms of the same character, so it has at most one Vegetto: base or Super Saiyan. The draw is revealed once everybody accepts the rules, and you only face him if he reaches your bout: fights between two NPCs are decided automatically.
His stats come from the tournament, not from the character: each contender draw has its own health, damage and AI tier. By default they range from 238,000 health, 9,900 melee damage and 8,840 ki damage (Smart AI) to 612,500 health, 25,800 melee damage and 23,460 ki damage (Elite AI), and contenders get 8% stronger for every round already played.
Tournament fighters never transform: Vegetto keeps the form he was drawn in for the whole bout. Bouts end at knockout, so he isn't killed and drops nothing.
Behavior and abilities
Vegetto flies and teleports behind you in both forms. His AI tier comes from the tournament draw or, in the story, from your difficulty (see enemy AI tiers). Both forms use Deadly Dance (Vegetto): he dashes in and pins you with a flurry of blows that ends in a heavy final hit.

Forms
Vegetto has two forms, each a separate entity: Vegetto (base) and Vegetto (Super Saiyan). Neither of them transforms into the other.
In the story
Buu Saga quest 41, Vegetto Unleashed, is a spar with Vegetto (Super Saiyan) in the Rocky biome: he concedes instead of dying. It comes right after quest 28, Face Vegetto, which is a fight against Goku and Vegeta. The base form appears only in the tournament.
