El Androide 16 es uno de los androides de la Saga Androides, un poco más grande que un jugador. Es uno de los luchadores que pueden salir sorteados como aspirantes en los Juegos de Cell, y tu compañero de entrenamiento en la misión de la Saga Androides El Gigante Amable.
En el torneo
Android 16 is one of the Cell Saga fighters that fill the contender seats of the Cell Games bracket, hosted by Cell. Each run draws its contenders at random, each character at most once, so he isn't in every bracket; the draw is only revealed once everybody accepts the rules. His fellow contenders can include Tien Shinhan.
His stats come from the seat he is drawn into: by default a contender has between 66,500 and 210,000 health, 2,700 to 8,700 melee damage and 2,420 to 7,820 ki damage, fights on the Novice, Smart or Elite AI tier, and gets 8% stronger for every round already played.
The Cell Games are lethal: losing a bout kills you. See Tournaments for how bouts work.
Behavior and abilities
Android 16 flies.
- Ki Wave: a large yellow ki wave.
- Ki Volley: a burst of fast ki blasts.
- Melee Combo: he teleports around you and lands three hits.
- Dodging: every so often he steps out of the way of an attack.
- Teleporting: on the Smart AI tier and above he can also teleport next to his target.
How well he uses them depends on his AI tier (see enemy AI tiers).
In the story
In the Android Saga quest The Gentle Giant you spar with Android 16 in Earth's mountains. Spars are non-lethal: he concedes instead of dying.
