Tien Shinhan
Tien Shinhan (Tien Shinhan (Early) in game) is one of the Z Fighters who can be drawn as a contender in the Cell Games, and one of your sparring partners at Kami's Lookout in the Saiyan Saga. He uses Goku's body model with his own texture.
In the tournament
Tien is one of the Cell Saga Z Fighters that fill the contender seats of the Cell Games bracket, hosted by Cell. Each run draws its contenders at random, each character at most once, so he isn't in every bracket; the draw is only revealed once everybody accepts the rules. His fellow contenders can include Android 16.
His stats come from the seat he is drawn into: by default a contender has between 66,500 and 210,000 health, 2,700 to 8,700 melee damage and 2,420 to 7,820 ki damage, fights on the Novice, Smart or Elite AI tier, and gets 8% stronger for every round already played.

Behavior and abilities
Tien flies and has one ki attack, the Ki Laser, a quick yellow beam. Every so often he steps out of the way of an attack. How well he uses them depends on his AI tier (see enemy AI tiers).
In the story
In the Saiyan Saga quest Sparring at the Lookout (quest 7) you defeat Krillin, Yamcha and Tien at Kami's Lookout.
The tournaments of the Classic Saga use two other Tien entities, each with its own look: Young Tien Shinhan (quest 35) and Tien Shinhan (quest 49).
