Location
Dr. Gero works in Dr. Gero's Lab, which generates once per world in the Rocky biome or in mountains. Capsule Corp Assistants sell a map to it at trade tier 4 (see Dr. Gero's Lab).

Talk to Dr. Gero as a Human and accept his offer to become an Android:
- The change is permanent: you can't turn back into a normal Human.
- It switches you to the Android form line (Android Base, Super Android, Fused Android), and you lose the Super and Legendary forms. Your racial skills change too.
- It isn't possible while you're fused, and the offer is locked once you're already an Android.
- Characters of other races can only tell him they're not interested.
See the Android page for everything that changes.
In the story
- Android Saga quest 18, Gero's Blueprints: find Gero's Lab, obtain 16 Paper and talk to Bulma.
