Unleash Power

Old Kai (the Elder Kai) is a master who lives at Old Kai's Pillar on the Sacred Kai Planet. He is tied to unlocking your hidden potential: besides a few skills and the Soul Punisher, he runs the Ultimate Challenge, which unlocks the Ultimate form and gives you the Z Sword. He only trains Good-aligned players.

Location

Old Kai lives at Old Kai's Pillar in the Sacred Kai Plains. The Sacred Kai Planet is reached by Space Pod once you complete Buu Saga quest 23.

Alignment

Old Kai needs an alignment of 61 or higher (Good) for his Skills, Train and new quests. His Unleash Power service asks for 62 or higher.

The Ultimate Challenge

Main article: Training Minigames

With an alignment of 62 or higher and Potential Unlock level 10, Old Kai's Unleash Power option starts the Ultimate Challenge: the five training minigames back to back (Ki Control, Gravity, Shadow Boxing, Precision and Rhythm), each until you clear its target level. Clearing all five:

unlocks the Ultimate skill;
gives you the Z Sword, only the first time you complete it.

Below the required alignment or Potential Unlock level, the option stays locked and Old Kai tells you what's missing. See Old Kai's Ultimate Challenge for the details.
