DragonMineZ generates landmark structures across its worlds. Most of them are the homes of masters, the trainer NPCs who teach you skills and techniques. Others are world boss lairs, raid sites, tournament arenas and villages. This page explains how structures generate, how they're protected and how to find them, and lists every one of them.

Not every master lives in a structure you can locate: King Kai, King Yemma, the Grand Kai and the Otherworld's Fortuneteller Baba live in the Otherworld. See Masters.
Alignment
Some masters only train you if your alignment fits their morality (bands: Good 61–100, Neutral 41–60, Evil 0–40). Without the right alignment, their Skills, Train and new quests stay locked:
- Good alignment (61 or higher): Goku and Gohan at Goku's House, Master Roshi and Krillin at Kame House, Old Kai at Old Kai's Pillar, and King Kai in the Otherworld.
- Evil alignment (40 or lower): Cell at the Cell Arena and Frieza at Frieza's Ship.
- Every other master has no alignment requirement by default.
Some services have their own alignment rules, such as Babidi's mark or the Grand Elder's potential unlock. Whether NPCs are hostile toward you is a separate, configurable system (see NPC Placement and Alignment).
How structures generate
generateCustomStructuresEach master's structure is placed once per world and only in its biomes, so structures don't spawn on top of each other. Before placing one, DragonMineZ checks the biome, water and slope over the structure's whole footprint and keeps the best spot it finds. The surface buildings are then fitted to the terrain: the best rotation is chosen, the building is set on the ground around it, and the land under and around its footprint is filled or trimmed, so houses don't cut square holes into hills or stand on walls of filler blocks. Dr. Gero's Lab and Babidi's Spaceship, which reach underground, keep their own placement.
The World Martial Arts Tournament island is placed differently: it needs an ocean site that is at least 98% water and away from Ocean Monuments, always faces the same way, and is built step by step as players come within about 200 blocks, because it is too big to place at once.
Some structures have NPCs living in them besides their master, such as Chi-Chi in Goku's House. Each one spawns once per structure, also in structures generated before it was added, and doesn't come back if it dies. Server owners can add their own with a datapack (see NPC Placement and Alignment).
Server owners can turn DragonMineZ structures off entirely.
Existing worlds
Unique structures that were added in an update (for example Fortuneteller Baba's Palace, the Tree of Might or the Big Gete Star) still show up in worlds created before it. If the spot DragonMineZ planned for them is already generated, the structure is placed there when a player loads that chunk. The Tree of Might and the Big Gete Star are too big to place at once, so they're filled in gradually (the tree visibly grows). Chunks where players have spent more than an hour are skipped, so bases are never overwritten. Saiyan Craters and Red Ribbon bases only appear in newly generated chunks.
Protection
- Master structures (every structure that is a master's home, plus the Time Chamber) can't be damaged by ki attacks unless the gamerule
allowKiGriefingMasterStructuresistrue(defaultfalse). - Tournament arenas (Fortuneteller Baba's Palace, the Cell Arena, the Otherworld Tournament grounds and the World Martial Arts Tournament island) can't be built in or broken by survival or adventure players, explosions or mob griefing unless the gamerule
allowBuildingInArenaStructuresistrue(defaultfalse). - Some lairs have their own unbreakable parts: the wood and roots of the Tree of Might and the hull of the Big Gete Star.
Finding structures
The locate command
/dmzlocate <structure> finds the nearest DragonMineZ structure with that id in the dimension you're in, and prints the coordinates of the structure itself (its centre, at floor level) and its distance. Click the coordinates to get a ready-made teleport command. It accepts a bare id (goku_house) or a full one (dragonminez:goku_house), and tab-completes every DragonMineZ structure plus otherworld_tournament (which only works inside the Otherworld). It needs the dragonminez.dmzlocate permission.
If nothing is found nearby, it tells you which dimension and biomes the structure generates in, so you know where to explore. For world boss lairs, operators can use /dmzworldboss locate (see World Bosses).
Treasure maps
Several NPCs sell treasure maps with a red X that point to the nearest structure of their kind. If that structure hasn't been placed in the world yet, the trade shows as out of stock and turns into a real map once the structure can be located (re-open the trade window).
| Map to | Sold by | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Goku's House | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 1 | 10 Cooked Dino Meat |
| Kame House | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 1 | 8 Cod |
| Piccolo's House | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 2 | 1 Water Bucket |
| Yamcha's House | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 2 | 1 Bone |
| Kami's Lookout | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 3 | 1 Spruce Sapling |
| Fortuneteller Baba's Palace | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 3 (always offered) | 6 Glass Bottles |
| Cell Arena | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 3 | 1 Tier-1 Radar Chip |
| World Martial Arts Tournament | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 3 (always offered) | 4 Gold Ingots |
| Dr. Gero's Lab | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 4 | 16 Iron Ingots |
| Trunks' Ship | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 4 | 1 Iron Sword |
| Vegeta's Saiyan Pod | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 5 | 1 Red Scouter |
| Babidi's Spaceship | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 5 | 4 Ender Pearls |
| Majin Buu's House | Capsule Corp Assistant, tier 5 (always offered) | 1 Cake |
| Frieza's Ship | Capsule Corp Namekian | 1 Tier-1 Radar Chip |
| Grand Elder's House | Capsule Corp Namekian | 1 Healing Bucket |
| Big Gete Star | Namekian Trader | 16 Emeralds |
| Tamagami Number Three, Two and One lairs | Time Patroller | 12, 16 and 20 Emeralds |
| Gomah's Horn Cradle | Time Patroller | 24 Emeralds |
Every Capsule Corp map also costs an empty Map, and each of those map trades can be used up to 8 times (the Capsule Corp Namekian's too). The Fortuneteller Baba's Palace and World Martial Arts Tournament maps are offered by every Capsule Corp Assistant of tier 3 or higher and the Majin Buu's House map by every tier-5 assistant; they're added the next time you open its trades, so assistants that levelled up before get them too. The Namekian Trader's and the Time Patroller's maps have 4 uses each. See the NPCs' pages in the Bestiary for their other trades.
